A Happy Reefneck/LadyReefNeck Day! :)

I can NOT believe it! It has finally happened to me! My All time favorite Clownfish, "Coral" who was my very virst clownfish has eggs!!

I just purchased her "boyfriend" and paired them around 3 months ago so I am shocked!

Louise found the eggs on the overflow and under the edge of the anemone this evening around 6:30. She is still trying hard to get a pic or two to post.

So it's a beautiful day in the Reefneck home with Coral a proud mother to her first batch of eggs.

Coral is a Gold Stripped Maroon Clown that was purchased at Bio-Reef over 2 years ago. No, We can not handle the chore of trying to raise them. It's a shame, That is something I had hoped to do one day.

Keep an eye on this thread for pics as soon as she can get some.

I wasn't able to get very good pictures earlier tonight and then I was out for most of the evening (the Christmas shopping thing), but here's a couple from earlier. I will try again tomorrow to get a few more.

This was the "couple" last week. The anemone just moved to this spot up near the top of the overflow about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
