It's been a couple of months coming, but I've finished all the initial step for my 75g and after testing out the new sump and skimmer and water test on tank, I've drained it and ready to move it in from the garage.
Next step is getting my sand and rockwork done. I've already purchased about 70lbs of
lace rock and going to seed it with LR, but I haven't gotten my sand yet.
I'm planning on doing about 80lbs of non-live sand and seeding it with about 20-40lbs of live sand. However, with all the folks upgrading or downsizing, i'm wondering if any folks out there has any buckets of sand just sitting around.
I'm unsure if I would be better off purchasing everything in bags, or using what someone may have extra.....
If anyone could clarify this so I know for future reference that would be awesome....
