30g Sump.... Black Molding broken and came off.

I recently purchased a used 30L from a member and after getting it home the black molding around the bottom came off and broke. I attempted to silicone it back on but one side keep coming off regardless. However, I did put more silicone on glass in all the area it's joined together both inside and out. What kind of problem am I'm going to have with this if any? Any suggestions on how to fix this if the silicone isn't going to hold the molding?

Perhaps building up a 2x2 frame all around the bottom of the tank braces up against the molding?

Any help would be appreciated.....

Try "Gorilla Glue" on the trim piece. It is some B.A.S. Will glue most everything together, permanently!

Aye, that's exactly what I did today. I grabbed a tube from work and some 18" clamps and I'll see tomorrow how it's holding......
