skunk shrimp eggs

gota question......my skunk shrimp is carring a but load of green eggs under him/her......but i only got one skunk and one CBS and one peppermint....

any chance that they are fertile? im gettin mixed results on research....some spots say yes and some spots say know.....

i know there is a low survival rate of them just wondering if i might by chance get lucky enuff for a few survivors.....

If I am remembering correctly, skunk cleaners have a very long larval stage and usually do not survive under normal tank conditions. I would expect that if the shrimp has eggs then they should be fertile. If you had a small, separate, tank you could set up with possibly a sponge filter in it and put the shrimp in there perhaps you would stand a better chance, but even then I am not sure. You would have to stay on top of the water parameters and there would be a very good chance of sucking out many of the babies during a water change.
