Honestly. Freshwater fish would be your best bet. Guppies, mollys, platys all can be bred easily. There are no easy to breed saltwater fish. The breeding part is actually no problem, it's the raising of the fry that is the most difficult part to overcome. Compared to the number of clowns that lay eggs in our tanks, the number of people who have actually raised them to young juvenilles is very low. A 5 or 10 gallon tank would be big enough just to grow some of the food needed to raise clownfish.
