We leave the lights off at nite and don't cover all the size of the tank anymore, Didn't work for us, We have a little spot light about 10 inches off the top of tank during the day, The back we put newpaper on and You can see in the vedio here in the 18 day old clowns. We feed all day long then they go from 7:30 pm to 11;00am the next day without anymore food added to the tank. Live rots for the first week and about day 8 BBS, then at 2 weeks we work on the dry foods.

Phil I will try and help, I have a batch of un expected seahorses and work and all that keeps me busy, and on top of that I will have to do some traveling over the next week or two, will have to teach my kids how to feed the fry, But I willtry and post some links here and come up with what all we have been doing on the fry to keep them alive for you, It takes about 13 to 14 days for the fry to hatch. So You have alittle time.

Phil, If you know the day, we let the fish do the work right up to the last day and then place them in the nursery. Place an airstone near the egg to keep a mild flow and then move the air to the two corners the morning after they hatch.
