breeding saltwater fish

this little thought just came to me. would it be possible for me to build a tank up 3 or 4 feet high and the size of a fridge made of wood and staple this thick plastic covering over the wood and put saltwater in it with a filter inside. i was thinkin about breeding about starting small with halibut or sculpin. feed them sliced sardines or anchovies or maybe frozen squid. thoughts?

well cheap way is to simple buy some 10g tanks for 10$ with some sponge filters and a heater and you are good to go. also i am not really sure what you plan to breed so the tank size may vary

good thought but you need to consider the pressure of that volume of water. plus those fish have not been captive bred to my knowledge. do you know what type of breeders they are?
