what type of salt should i use for sea horses


my local fish store said i need red sea salt for sea horses is this true?

No, any salt brand would be fine. Sounds like the LFS has ulterior motives to push red sea salt. I prefer reef crystals, but use whatever you prefer.

I used IO ( Instant Ocean) but as Chris said any salt rand would be fine.

Care to share your set up with us?!
