Seahorse Id

Ok, being that Im new... this was very helpful when I came across it. I posted a link but someone mentioned that we should make one here. So here goes. I thought it would help

H = hippocampus
Tropical species - kept at 74-78 degrees F (24-26 degrees C)
Subtropical species - kept at 70-74 degrees F (22-25 degrees C)
Temperate species - kept at 66-72 degrees F (19-22 degrees C)

So please correct me if Im wrong. This is still a learning process for me

Here is a diagram of the SH (its not a good one..but you get the idea of a male and female)

H. Kuda - grow to 10" (7.0-17.0cm)
Availability: CB & WC available
Reproduction: 20-28 day gestation. Up to 1000 fry per brood
Climate: Tropical

H. Reidi - 5-7" (9.5-17.5cm)
Availability: WC and CB available
Reproduction: gestation period 2 weeks
Climate: Tropical (or subtropical)

H. Zosterae aka Dwarf Seahorses - 1.5 inches (3.8 cm) biggest 2in
Availability: CB & WC available
Climate: Subtropical
Reproduction: 10-14 day gestation, 3-50 fry in a brood

There are many to still come... you can only post 10 images... so give me a few and ill have more. please feel free to add. i just thought it would be nice to match names with a couple different looking seahorses
