Seashorse newbie
I'm going to start a tank this month too. I'm kind of limited on space but seahorses are just the coolest little creatures. I'm lucky enough to have met a breeder here in Baltimore, MD. He has a nice variety of H. erectus right now for a good price.
I think the thing that sold me was watching them eat, of all things. I thought it was the most amazing thing the way they suck up their prey. Here is a pic of the one I think I am going to get, I'll probably get a few of them:
In case you are interested, the breeder's site is http://www.dracomarine.org/species/

The fish bowls are drilled on each side and then have a screen glued on to keep the fry in, In the pass I used the bowls without the holes drilled in and it seem hard to keep things clean .
The Rots have been going for a few weeks, Once they started they took off, really well, I need to start my green water set up as well now

Here are a few pictures of my Kreisel System without water , I will be filling it up soon, it is a 20L with two -2gallon bowls in it, I have used them in the past but never drilled them before, JustDavidP gave me the idea on the drilling and posted some really nice pictures in the mating thread,

I think that would be very cool, I am thinking of turning my reef into a more seahorse friendly reef, nothing that will hurt them, I am turning most of my time to seahorses lately, Now that none of my pairs are having babies , LOL
