I would aleast put on one of the clip lights with a Lights of america daylight bulbs, The same as what I would have on a refugium, My 37 gallon hads 130 watts of light. Plenty to keep the macroalgae happy,

I have a small UV Sterilizer that i got when I bought a 75 gallon tank years ago. Never used it, would it be a good idea for the SH tank?

I think it depends who you ask, or what you read, I think of H.reidi being the larger, but they may be about the same. Someone will chime in.

You can order from seahorsesource direct. He will ship to your door. His customer service is awesome. The reidi and erectus I have seen are about the same size.

I look at it like this Valerie, I have never seen anything written base on fact, about them raising them in pens, Every horse I have gotten from them hads been healthy and eating frozen foods. some a few years old already. Not a one person in any of that thread hads facts, Just Hear Say just they are fishy, I don't trust them, I have heard and so on. Hear say!

And I also notice they are pushing a few breeders they prefer.
Then Look at it thios way, if they are pen raised, someone is taken the time to get them feeding on frozen foods , Not the easiest thing to do,

I don't use a feeding station , I take a cube and just move it around on the sufface and it falls all over the tank and they hunt for it.

I have a small maxijet to move water and an airline
