lol yer well I wouldn't mind some marine fish but the horses are great they have their own personalities but I bought the tank for mum for her b'day so she could get some seahorses as all I have is tropical and cold water fish before the marine tank was added. Seems like my tank tho since I need to know everything and test the waters and make sure all is good which it is thank goodness.

But I notice worm type arms or something coming out of a piece of LR. It's brown and white striped mum says fire worm. theres about 4 little wormy type things coming out of the rock. First time I've noticed it and don't know if its a threat to the girls or not. Can anyone help me out I know a pic would be good but so small and well the pics of the SH didn't come out that great.

I know you know, but I never used the squirrel before! Lol. Anyway, it could be a couple things. Fire worm, yes, random bristle worm, that too. Could also be a bristle star hiding within the rock. No worries either way. You do not have corals, and they will help clean the tank of unwanted food. Only time they are a threat is when they are big. I will see after work if I can find a link to a thread posted here about three weeks ago about a 5 or 6 footer. Far as I know, no worries.

Check out this link and see if you can find a picture of the worms you are seeing.

It is doubtful that it is a fireworm. My money would be on a peanut worm based on your description alone.
