Looks like the Northern strain of Erectus. Notice the shorter snout. Most of the seahorses caught in the northern part of the states have the shorter snouts and are a little smaller. The ones caught down south have a longer snout. I think Draco has the northern strain and Seahorse source has the southern. I have seen both and there is a definite difference between the two. But they are both Erectus.
After all that I am probably wrong. LOL
Beautiful is what he is****
Hippacampus Erectus and Hippacampus Zosterae are indigenous species to the eastern US. Zosterae or better know as dwarfs are found in southern waters around Florida.

I got him from my local fish store, which only gets their horses from Dracomarine. I have been dealing with this store for a long time. They are avid coral enthusiest that started in their basement and then the garage and so on... They are great people. I actually emailed Draco after i got him to find out his age and a few other things. Including that he is a northern erectus species.
The gorg is not photosynthetic. I am trying my hand at it. I should most likely stick to only photosynthetic, but had to try just one. It is very pretty.
