I am going away for 10 days, leaving my Dh in charge of my tanks

I am a bit nervous. Mainly about the seahorses. My hubby leaves for work very early in the am, so I bought live shrimp form seawater express. I have a 10 gallon right by the seahorse tank filled with these little snickin shrimp. I have been feeding them treats of these shrimp for a couple days now. This will be their main diet while I am gone. I figure Dh can just take a net full every morning and put them in the seahorse tank, then again at night if they seem hungry. So far, they hunt very well. The female likes the live so much, she will take it out of the guys mouths.

So has anyone else ever bought from seawater express. The man that I talked to is very nice. If this works well, I will buy from there again when I go away. ( I love vacationing and pray the horses do well so I can go away again)

Well, still praying that Dh doesn't kill anythinig while I am gone. I figure the reef tanks will be ok, so will the fresh water tanks, more worried about the dogs, cats, toads and of course the horses!!!

Seawater express has a great reputation for snickin shrimp for seahorses. These are food grade, aquacultured shrimp. Noni will also help you determine what size you need.
I feel for you having to leave them in your Hubbys care. I am training for a new job and for a month have to spend 5 days a week out of town training. I just got home yesterday and all was well after the first week. Now can we survive 3 more LOL.. I made up little ziplock bags ( 1" X 2" size, found in the bead section of craft store) for each feeding and mark the bags for the seahorse tank and reef tank. All he has to do is thaw and feed to the appropiate tank. I use vibrance or selcon every few days on the seahorse food. I was able to put the right amount in a couple bags. It seemed to work well.
The only problem about feeding them live for any period of time is some times its hard to get them back to frozen.
