Gas bubble disease??

I'm worried about Mustang Sally. She has a lump at the bottom of her abdomen/ body?...right before her tail starts. She stays stationary for long periods of time and sometimes breathes heavy. She's still mobile, and is eating. The lump looks a little larger today. Kinda like she swallowed a small pea and it's sitting at the bottom of her. Ideas???

I can't tell if it's GBD cuz I have no pics to compare it to. The swelling seems to have gone down, but she's still breathing heavy. She's still eating. Yesterday she hitched onto my finger. That was the first time that happened. Really cool!!! I inspected her for any other physical signs of trauma and found nothing. I doswed the tank with melafix and pimafix and it turned into a big mess. My inverts don't seem to like it. I did a nice size pwc and left the filter running with some carbon in it to get it out. I can't put her in the QT cuz it's a mess right now. Tomorrow I'll try to clean up the QT so I can put her in there. Any medication recommendations???

Picture would be helpful.

Are there bouyancy problems?

What meds do you have on hand?

Can you get diamox? Do you have triple sulpha and neomycin?

Don't dose your tank with any meds, it will crash, everything will die. Serious, not a good idea.

It is a sad day.....Mustang Sally has passed on to bigger oceans
She had a hole in her body where the swelling was. You could see right through the hole, as if someone drilled a hole in her. Any ideas on what it could have been? I'd like to know for future reference in case it happens again. Then I'll be able to diagnose and treat before it's too late.
