Well we still have the 3 horses. The pony is 39 days old so I think we may have stopped our die off. I tested the water yesturday and noticed it had alittle ammonia and nitrite in it so I may have to change more water more often. I still change 2gal. a day. That HOB filter sure works great to suck all the old brine out with. I use a part of a stocking on a siphon tube in the over flow part of it that goes in the tank and turn the flow down and the stocking catches all the brine when it comes out. It only takes about a hour to do this.

Well we lost the pony so now we just have the adult male and female. Still in the 2 1\2 gal tank . We tried some of that BIO-SPIRA and it didn't work for us.I used the whole pouch(1oz.) on the 2 1\2 gal tank and we still have high nitrite for 2 days so today I did another 2gal water change. I was hoping it would cycle the filter but it didn't.This is going to be my last up date on this thread. Hopefully we can keep the 2 adults that are left. Even if we lose them I will try agian some time because I enjoy them, and would some time like to try the bigger ones.We have a 30 tall tank that would make a good horse tank for the bigger ones. BYE..............
