I am going to list some SH's that I am looking into. I am reading about them and just want to know from your experiences or what you have been told... anything is good to know

I am looking to have smaller ones..... probably max at 7 inches..

I have found the bigger ones are easier to feed... erectus or reidi IMO

i personally have to disagree with geenbean, i havent kept ponies yet, but have been doing extenxive research and have come to beleive that producing a small enough food source for, and small enough food for the fry, is difficult. and the fact that few dwarves acclimate to frozen foods i would stay away from them. however, i have heard accounts that they are easy to breed and hardy, SO LONG as nutitional requirements are met.
good luck, keep posting on how your tank comes along!
