Worried!!! Looks like flatworms/parasite leeching on my fish.

I have a purple firefish and I noticed some white/clear oval shaped things latched onto his body. Two smaller ones about 1/16 inch and two bigger ones about 1/8 inch on the sides of his body.

I looked closely at it to see if they move in different spots of his body and i think the ones on the side were closer together but are now further apart.

The fish is acting normally as it did when it didnt have the spots.

Any idea what this is? And possible treatment/medications?

Sounds like an isopod, and there are some parasitic isopods on fish. A picture would surely help.

Here is a pic of what I could get right now. Its not really clear because the fish swims so fast.



The two dots on the side have moved they were much further apart before.

I looked up isopods and they are suppose to have black eyes? I dont see that on this. If it were isopods how would i treat this. FWD for 8 min?

Anyway those pics are kinda bad lol, these fish just move too fast.

I managed to catch it and did a FWD. Those flat things fell off after about 4 min.

hmm..

thats the biggest i could get it to go without it blurring. Its really really small. and if you can see from the picture white/clear and no black eyes like the isopods i have read about that are suppose to be super deadly

which at even 2mm have black eyes.
