Wierd little anemone
THis little guy has been in a hole in my live rock for over two years now, Split once but the litte baby one got eaten by a crab, I think it's a curlyque anemone but not sure, Any guesses out there. IT"S NOT AIPTASIA, Well the curlyque is in the Aiptasidae family but not the prolific kind. It has never hurt anything, Never got bigger or smaller, It just hangs out. ????

Hard to say, but do a search under "majano". There are many different types of majanos, and they can go years without spreading and then go to plague proportions for no apparent reason. It is possible that the anemone in the pic is a majano, but I certainly wouldn't bet my life on it.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Its not a Mojo. It looks more like a feather duster than an anemone.

I don't know but doesn't look like a feather. You can see the mouth if you look really close. I would say mojano but if you can get a clearer pic it would help. Nifty trick: Place a magnifing glass next to tank in front of the camera, you'll be amazed at the difference!

Mojo look like little BTAs. That thing just has a rim of "tentacles".

Even though the picture is out of focus, this guy looks very much like one I have in my new tank. Mine started out pink, but is showing some purple in the T5 lighting, and it is starting to develop rings on the "fingers" like I see on yours.
I thought once that mine might be a variation of a Club Anemone, but I could understand it being curlyque possibly after many months/years of growth...
Anyway, I named it "short-stack".
If I can get a good picture of mine, I'll attach it.
