White spot

Hey guys i think my recently purchased tomato clown fish is starting to get white spot, is it contagious or will it just stick to the clown? what are the best ways to get rid of it and what causes it, water change? what is the best thing to get rid of it,, any help will be appreciated

Without pic it sounds like Ich.Put him in a hospital tank and treat him with that.Some people feed Grarlic in the food and it helps get rid of it too!Check your water parimeters and good luck with him.
