We have a 75 gal F/O with live rock and some invertrabrates. We had purchased some
sea stars, burgundy, blue, red, marble. They all eventually passed away. We realized we had copper pipes. We did look at the blue
sea star for parasites before we put him in there and didn't find any. A couple days ago we turned on the light and saw a white creature about a quarter of an inch or so, some smaller, kind of bends in the middle when it moves. Seems to move rapidly. Looks like it has feet in the back that it uses to swim with and they look like fine bristles. Kind of looked like it had a pinkish center on the body, at least the one I saw moving on the glass and had like the foot of a snail that it used to move or to eat or something and when the foot stretched out front it got to be 2 to 3 times the size of the creature and then got smaller when the body caught up with it or vice versa. Similar to a picture we looked at of amphipods, but we are not positive and we want to make sure it is not bad for our tank. There are a lot of them, mostly hanging out on the live rock. Only come out when the light is off. We were wondering about lice but we couldn't find a picture of them. We don't have a camera to take a picture. Any help is greatly appreciated as to what it is and how to get rid of it if we need to. Thank you.
