I am fairly new to sw. My tanks has been running for nearly 9 months. Recently, I noticed hundreds, if not thousands of something attached to the glass. At first i just thought the glass was slightly clouded with silt. When I got real close I could clearly see these things. They are so tiny I can't get a picture. The look like teeny tiny translucent sesame seeds attched to the glass on an equally teeny tiny stalk. They flutter in the current. They wipe off easily. I tried to use a small syringe to suck on up to look at it under the microscope but I can't seem to get one. The come off the glass so easily and get swept away. They are so tiny the fish don't seem to even know they are there... with the exception of our newly introduced
Mandarin Goby. He does seem to eat them. They don't move around. Not copepods. Any ideas?
