Weird Jelly Fish blob type thingy


these things have been appearing recently in my filter pads..now i know what your thinking ..its dirt..its not!..this thing is alive!! & theres more than 1 !! it twitches when out of water & if you dip it back in it lets out tentacles similar to a jelly fish..but its got a squids body..any one know what these are ?

It definately does NOT look like dirt! And I have those too. They creep along the glass and they are a lovely shade of pink! (I do not think they can be a good thing!)

Can you take another picture of it in water so the tentacles spread out normally? It's most likely an anemone but I need a better image to be sure.

Too late for that i threw those filter pads away with the bugs on them..but they appear often..so if i see any more that size ill keep him next time.
