Two diffrent "what is this" pictures
I think that one is a worm. it reacts when I get close to it.
The other one I had hoped that it was a star fish, but it has six points.

I was pretty sure of the Id on the first one. The second one might not be anything at all. It looks really flat.

the second pic is a asterina... some say good, some say bad... i just throw them in the fuge...

yep the first one is a tub worm, usually called a feather duster. second is an asterina starfish. most of them are just algae eaters, but some have been reported to munch on SPS corals. i have solid white ones all over my tank without any problems.

It appears that my asterinas are eating coralline of the rocks. Has anyone else experienced this?

 I saw the second one in alien, watch out, they attach to your face and implant a nasty little creature in your chest

That one is in my 6 gal nano and sits on my night stand. Thanks for the new nightmare.
