This orange thing...
Can any one tell me what this is? I have a live rock with about 4 of them on it. They seem to be an omnivorous scavanger. They eat prepard shrimp and fish flakes\pellets. Zoom up on it for alot more detail. Its circled below the blennie.

If you open the pic in full screen then duble click it (XP). It will give you full size of it. Its got a bunch of worm like tenticals that are yellowish with black dots.

okay did that. looks like a apistasia with yellow to me... but I could be wrong. expecially if it is feeding like an anemone and eating prepared shrimp and other fish food.

I have yellow pulups. They look like a worm\annimty mix. They are interesting to watch them eat. They put their tenticals out about 3 inches and grab the food then pull it to them in the center. The other ones never steel each others food. Some times they work to gether altho they are not attached.

Now that I look closer. I do not think it is a yellow polyp. I am leaning more toward apistasia.

They are kinda like the red hairs. But instead of liveing only in the sand they live only on live rock.
