Strange Creature

Hi to all,
Can anybody help me identify this strange but beautiful creature? It lives on my live rock, and when starteled retracts inside like a feather duster. I am very sure its not a feather duster since the neon colored spikes stay in place and never move when out. The whole thing is about 1" in diameter. It has 2 long tentacles and it seems like a bunch or small tentacles in the center. It would be great to find out if this is a good or bad thing that hitch hiked into our reef tank.

I'm not really sure other than it is most likely some sort of filter feeder.

Indeed, it looks like some sort of harmless filter feeder. Unfortunately I don't have much more insight, but I'd be comfortable leaving it in place. Looks cool!

Oh! I had one of those when I first started my reef, I bought the rock just cause it had that on it. It reflects light like a prism and is a different color depending on where you look at it. I don't know what it was though, but definitly harmless. It died when I moved.

Its a Flabelligerid worm and as you suspected, a harmless filter feeder.
