Spaghetti Worm's bad for zoo polyps?

I have a lot of spaghetti worms in my saltwater fishtank/ polyp tank. I have noticed as my zoo polpys have grown and spread that they stop when they get to a spaghetti worm. These worms continually run their arms over the polyps and cause them to close and die over time. Has anyone else had this problem? and is there any way to get these worms out of the tank. IE something that will eat them? any help would be much appreciated!
thanks in advance Steven

Do you have a pic of the spaghetti worms?

I'm not sure anything can get rid of them. Hopefully others will chime in.

this is a picture of one crawling on the glass. mine are in little holes in the rocks and just the yellow thin arms come out.

these arms rub across my zoo polyps and irritate them until they close up and disappear.

I don't know of any natural predators that only eat spaghetti worms. Jenajet apparently had a problem with them, as she states in the last post of this thread:

I wish I could be of more help!

I think that this is actually a hair worm not a spaghetti worm. I found this link while looking around. http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2002-06/rs/index.php This article is about the common misnaming of such things and describes them in detail. Does anyone know of a fish that is reef safe and eats hairworms?
