Snail/Slug ID???


Can some one help me ID this haven't been able to find anything even close...heres a pic dont know if you can ID it or not, little description...black, looks to have a small shell on the back w/ a white stripe on it, has ruffles around the egdes and 2 tenticles in the front....only seen it once(yesterday) in my cave...heresthe pic, thanks for your responses...

I have had them in my tank before, he is just a slug. algae eater.

It is an elephant snail, also known as a Ducksbill Limpet.
They are great algae eaters. Congrats on your bonus creature!
