second hitchiker!

near the top some sor of hard shelled thing, it has a clam like mout that opens a small bit, and it moves around a bit, sometime its looking straight up, other times its at an angle. what is it?

this is my first fish tank and im unknowing at some of these things? How do you know when i tank has cycled?

when ammonia and nitrites both read 0 is usualy a good sign, took my 14 gallon tank 2 weeks with about... enough biospira to treat 100 gallons sometimes it can take a month or months

does it take longer or less with a smaller tank i am expirementing with a 2 gallon tank. it is my first saltwater tank

it has had perfect salt balance for about 2 weeks and has been running for about 2 and a half weeks but when i added a damselfish to it, it died just after a week.

It dose look like a Crustation but i dont think its a clam

I can't imagine that are many fish that will live in a 2g tank. Maybe a very small goby or shrimp.
