i have an allens damsel in a 200 ltr marine tank, he has been living happily for the last four months, but today i noticed a sack over his right eye, i've been doing some reserch and thought it could be popeye but i haven't seen any pictures so am not sure. can anyone recomend a treatment and possibly some pics to confirm if it is popeye. any help appreciated thanks

yes it looks like my fish has popeye any suggestions on how to treat it. should i quaritine the fish. he would be hard to catch out of my big tank

I have a book that suggests tetracycline (an antibiotic) if it is bacterial and not related to an injury. I will try to remember to look up the dosing. Basically you mix it with frozen food and feed it every day for 2 weeks. I am at work until tomorrow morning but I will try to remember to look it up when I get home if no one else has the answer sooner.
