Please ID for me....

I found this little fella ontop of one of my corals the other day and have since been keeping him separately in a little container. He is still alive so if there is nothing wrong with him and he is one of the 'good' critters then I will stick him back in. Could anyone please help me ID it. It is approximately 10mm (half an inch) and it looks like he may have taken a beating from something, hence the missing legs. Two pictures are shown... one being the top of it and one being the underneath of it.

Thanks for your help people..... He met the inside of my basin drain pipe after your reponses and as such is probably not enjoying the fresh water..... Hahah. Cheers for your help.

Welcome to TRT!

It looked like some sort of strange underwater tick. You may have just flushed a never before disovered species, but I highly doubt it.

I would have gotten rid of it as well as it did not look friendly at all.
