pink blob, good or bad ?
this came on some live rock, its slowly got bigger over 5 wks, it will recoil back in if anything startles or touches it.. is it good or bad ? its actually only about 6mm big,

if you are talkingg about the big circle in the middle of the picture that is a zoanthid - it's a soft coral and a desirable hitchhicker

If it recoils back its not a zoa/ paly.
Zoas/palys will just close up, not recoil/retract.......
It does however look more like a paly than a anemone to me......, but growing like you say sounds more like a anemone.........
SO.......I obviously dont know what exactly it is.......but theres something to think about..... lol
