peanut worms


anyone have experiece with these? ive read that they arent harmful, but im wondering if they can reach to large of a colony, every time i check i notice more and more, if they can be harmful, any ideas for removal? fish or anything?

They will control their own population density, and I doubt that they will maintain a population unless you have a large one to start with in a DSB tank with a lot of organic material.

What conditions do you have, and how old is the tank?

the tank is very new, about 2 months maybe 3. its a 1 1/2" sand bed, i dont see them in the sand, just the rocks at night. there are about 10 or so, but it just seems like alot when you look in there and see them in every rock stretching this way and that... kinda creepy.

should not be an issue, hey will prolly die out in a tank of your size, anyway.
