Yep, the first looks like a harmless feather duster, but the other pics are surely majano anemones. I'd get rid of them.

I'd try the aptasia x. The majanos won't spread overnight, but I'd get rid of them sooner rather than later.

Do us a favor and let us know how the Aiptasia X works on them. I believe it will work but am truly curious to find out how well.

OK an update on the aiptasia x -v- majano
gave both of em a blast at lunch time, different reaction from the aiptasia's the aip's imploded after 1/2 a min then when the pumps where turned back on they dislodged from the rock and were easily netted out,Right the Majano's, firstly the tentacles folded inwards around the solution and then after about another min the storks or body for want of a better word started to swell till they were like a ball they remained like this for a short while and then slowly deflated to just a small mush on the rock.
Well they certainly looked dead to me although i know the exact spot where they were so i shall keep my eyes on them to see if there's ne regrowth and report back to let you know (PS if their not dead they will b very Pissed off he he)

Thanks for the update Gary. If it made them swell up and turn to mush then I would also hope they are dead. It is also cool that they did not release and float around if that is the case, and are dead right where they live.
Please keep us informaed as to if they come back in the same exact spot or not.

Hi Aquawolf,a quick update on the majano's or the late majano's i should say.
6 days now and no sign of ne regrowth so i can say that the aptasia x definatley works on majano's as well as the aiptasia also it was good that they never floated off after, the mush just seem to dissapear over the next day, it may have floated off in tiny pieces couldn'say for sure.but im quite happy that they have gone.

Thanks for the update Gary and for sharing your experience with the product with us. That is great news and I will definitely be looking into the Aiptasia X product in the near future.
