Need an ID on smoe weird looking slug
Not sure if s slug or not, it is about the size of a pea, grey with a black center. I keep finding these critters under the rocks when I move them around. Does anyone have any idea what they are and whether they are safe for my reef tank?

Nope. Not a Limpet. Sorry about the pic. I'll try to get a better one tomorrow. No shell on this critter. Feels and moves just like a slug. I have quite a few of them now and they avoid the light. Always under the rocks.

check stomatella. They don't have shells like regular snails. The shells of many of mine look just like the body, but you would have felt it I imagine. It's just a small flat shell that covers part of the "back".

Not a stomatella either. Trust me, no shell what so ever. I've plucked a few already. I need to take a better pic of it with my digital camera.

Got better pics today. Turns out with the water movement, the camera has a hard time getting in focus. As you can see, no shell on this specimen. Seems like I have quite a few of these critters in my tank. The darn things don't resemble anything on your links Jena.

The move around, they are usually found under the rocks as though preferring the dark and not sure how many there are. Seems as though every time I move a rock, I find one.

hmm..You are POSITIVE there is no shell? You sure it's not simply a flat shell? It MIGHT be an Atlantic Slipper. Those resemble 'feet' with sort of half a clam shell on their backs and are nearly impossible to pick up if they don't wanna be.
Put on some vinyl gloves and get a few out of the tank and inspect it closer and tell us if there is a shell or not on the back.

I'll be doing a water change today and I'll attempt to get one or two out of the tank and take a closer look. Pretty sure there aren't arey shells but will confirm later. I'll take pics of it out of the water as well.
