Mysterious tentacle creatures

I have moved my tank around a number of times over the years. It used to be that I only saw one or two of these creatures but now, I've settled back into my nano tank and these creatures number about a dozen. I can't find what they are anywhere except for that they might be brittle starfish but, I don't think so.

They appear in different colors, the ones in the sand are redish orange and the ones in the live rock are a greenish yellow if not neon green. The only way to describe them other than the color is that they consist of a varying number of long thread-like tentacles. The tentacles vary in length and so far, as large as 3 inches. I believe they are a small version of a creature I saw once while snorkeling. The creature in the ocean was very large. There was a center tube and the tentacles spread a diameter of 5 feet, it was the same color green as well. I touched it to see what would happen and it just sucked all the tentacles in.

They don't seem to do much but feel around the rocks for food. They are emerging from underneath my coral now and don't seem to be causing issues to the pieces they do touch... I don't think they are a problem but please correct me if I'm wrong and, I would very much like to know what they are.
