Question

Majano Anemones

I have an infatuation of Majano anemones in my reef. I have tried everything from limewater to Joe’s juice and nothing works. They go away for a few days then three or more pop up where the original was. I have a Stars and Stripe Puffer in a 100 gal fish only tank and he eats these things like candy. Question is if I put a few rocks from the reef in his tank at a time and let him eat them will they make him sick? He has only eaten two or three that were already in his tank and they did not seem to bother him after he ate them.

I think he'll be fine. My question is will he eat all traces of them, so they don't grow back...?

I am not sure if they will grow back, but I am going to let him mow down some and see.
Yes moving the rock will be a pain, but these things multiply faster than rabbits so it will be worth it.

FWIW, if you are going to have the rocks out of the tank anyway, make a thick kalk past solution that barely even will pour, and cover the majanos with it and let the rocks just sit out with the kalk past on them like that for 15 minutes.

they wont be back.

A blow torch will work even more conclusively AND faster.
