little hairy crab


Ok, I know i have a little hairy crab and he is eating my nassarious snails, . my question is how the frig do i catch him, he lives in a little hole in the rock that my colony of star polyps are on so i cant just take the rock out and beat him out of it lol, he doesnt seem to come out when i feed the tank only at night he catches my little sand snails and eats them, caught him doing it but he drags them back into the hole in the rock... plz help...

First thing i would try is getting a small glass and prop it at an angle near his home against the rock and put some bait in it at night.

Theory goes that he will climb in, but wont be able to climb back out

Take the rock out of the water. The GSPs will be fine for a couple of minutes, but I think the crab may come out. I had one and it is creepy how they drag their prey under the rock!!

stick some thing in the hole and stab it or take the rock out and put some salt in the hole and he WILL come out i have did it with Mantes shrimp's
