Is this a majano?
I've had these two majano looking things on my rock for the last 4 months. They have not spread anywhere but I think they are stinging my zoos. Are they majanos? They are really pretty and i hate to get rid of them but you have to do what you have to do.

Those are the ones I was talking about.
I have never seen a majano with such extension. Mine are always flat. So my vote is still some kind of paly, but hopefully someone else will chime in

I really don't think they're majanos. They look more like tube worms/feather dusters to me.

No, They don't have a hard tube. They act just like an anenome. They take food with there arms and put it in there mouths. THey also tuck them selves in the green stem at night and when moved or touched. It looks like a big green circle.

Nothing Yet! I've been searching and I still can't find it. http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/hitchfaq.htm
It kind of looks like the majanos on this page but I'm not too sure.

They are not duncans cause they have a soft tube. It looks like they are stinging the polyps around them. Cool looking though

can you get a good photo of the oral disc with details? Need to see fine detail like if there is a groove between the ring of tentacles and the oral disc, double or single row of tentacles, etc needed to use any of the good hexacoral keys.
