is there such thing as to much live rock?? im planning on filling my 5 galon tank entirely with LR... by "entirely" i mean lots of it so only shrimps and small fish can live in it....any comments?? pictures would be good

well... For a 5 gallon, even totally open only small fish and shrimp could live in it haha if you want to fill the tank with LR you should just keep corals and shrimp, fish need to swim!

nice wouldnt the amount of live rock affect the water parameters?

Um if your referring to the filtration that is used by the bacteria on the live rock then yes, but if you fill a tank with LR thats even less volume of water then a regular 5 gallon, leaving about 2-3 gallons.. Parameters in this volume can change rapidly producing a system crash.

THere is a point of diminishing returns on LR... you can get to the point where your tank is more rock than water and there is very little water movement. THis could potentially mean bad things
