I believe that is is some type of caluerpa leaf, I had a few when before my tank had cycled which have since disappeared.

jschulzpt and ice bear- is it good or bad?

its probably ok, i have never had a calcerous algae grow so fast in my tank that it became a plague- but then i don't dose cal for my stuff.

just keep an eye on it and how fast it grows. i'm not a big fan of nuking things that are unknown unless it is obviously bad. but thats just me
