well i just caught it and apparently it can swim fairly fast lol. i have it separated from the main tank now but if its harmless then i will put it back. my closest guess is those jellies that cling under leathers that shoot out the little fishing lines to eat but i want to be sure that its not some coral eating slug or anything, i know i got a few of those jellies when i got my yellow leather but have never seen more than there lines and didnt think they would crawl around on the glass, usually those stay hidden from the fish.

its flat and as it moves it stretches out different shapes but for the most part unless its swimming yes. when it swims it does so like a flatworm like the outer rim is wings but nothing about it matches any of the flatworm species i have looked up. there is no mouth area or anything just the thick white vein looking thing in the middle which is what makes me think that its a ctenophore "i think thats how you spell it. but not for positive thats what it is and just wanted a second oppinion or 3 lol. hate to flush something that is harmless and looks cool when swimming thru the tank...

Unless it sends out 2 feeding tentacles and proves it's a benthic ctenophore I would go with flatworm. The plain white or translucent ones aren't photographed as often as the more colorful polyclads.
