i am guessing the first one is just a feather duster.

the other could be snail eggs. do you have snails in your system?

I researched these little creatures when they first appeared in my tank. From what I recall they are feather dusters and are harmless. There's even a couple on the shells of my hermit crabs.

i figured out what the white dots on my glass were. upon closer inspection i saw that they were spiral in shape and these are what i have found them to be..they are Spirorbid worms, luckily these dont pose any threat and will likely go away. I believe i have aquired them through a recent live rock additon.

Feather dusters will sometimes make your tank a lot look better depending on what types you have and others will just make your tank look better.
i have never seen any feather dusters that look bad
