ID needed.
Can anyone tell from this pic what kind of critter this is? I have no clue what exactly I'm looking at.. But it looks like a little red blob in the middle with small white dots attached to it. Maybe some kind of eggs or something? The white dots have the green arrows pointing to them. Kinda like to know what all everything is b4 they start attacking things in the tank, you know?

well since the picture isn't very clear it looks like cyno to me, but you can see it with your eyes so you might have ruled that out.

Yeah.. I know that the picture isn't very clear, but that is about as definite a picture I can get.. looks practically like if you were looking at the tank. It really has no real definition to the red blob part, but with a white undefined center bump and little white balls around it almost suspended in the water. It looks like maybe it's a type of sponge or something. I know it's not an majano anemone cuz i have a couple I'm trying to get rid of right now.. lol When the tank lights come back on I'll try to get a better pic.

Thanks, Tippman! Pseudocorynactis have to be it. I looked at a couple pics and found some that are almost identical to what I've got in my tank. Good feeling knowing that I'm not going to have to spend hours trying to get rid of any pests in the near future... knock on wood.. Now that my peppermint shrimp is gone who knows what will happen with the aiptasia lol.
Thanks again,
Landon

Welcome!
The white ball things gave it away for me.
I have two or three of these that were H/h on LR Its a shame they are growing half under a rock and in a dark spot.

To me that pic looks like regular red/brown mushrooms. And they don't look happy as it appears there mouths are gaping open. When did you get this? Is your tank established?
