I found a monster in my Tank

While moving everything out of my 30gal and into my new 56 I found a monster it's a worm about 22 inches long brownish in color but has an irredecent sheen in the light and has bright red hairs along both sides.

Fireworm?????

oh ok was just wondering , just by its shear size it looks like something that would be hanging out of the tank let alone able to hide in one . that thing is without a dought a real "monster"

we would need a pic of the head in order to tell if it was eating critters or just left overs. most polychaete worms are harmless, but there are a couple that can cause problems. even the size does not mean a thing. it just means there is a lot of food in the tank. whether it is fish food or food fish is the question.
