Hitchhikers already

Well its been less then then a week but i just notice my first hitchhiker. Its a tiny little guy and he dissappeared quickly so no chance to get the camera out. So I will do my best to describe it. If I remember correctly I had a few of these in my large reef so I am not too concerned.

You know those little bugs, oval shape, lots of legs, and they fold up into a ball when they get scared. It kinda looked like that. Thats about the best i can do with out a pick but hey atleast I know my tank supports life.

oh update just walked by to see something that looked like a tiny baby shrimp running into the lr

Amphipods are little "bugs" you may see scurrying about your live rock - especially after lights out. These guys are good scavengers and are common.
