HELP, what do i have growing in my tank?!?!?

its taking over my big gsp colony rock, which in turn is keeping the polyps from really extending, is it something i really need to be concerned about and take the whole rock out immediatley, or just leave it be??

Not sure of the exact name, but it is definitely a type of really cool macro algae that is probably harmless. Wish I had some like that!

Not sure what it is exactly, but I agree, it appears to be some kind of algae. If it's growing rapidly, I'd be concerned, especially since it seems to be bothering your gsp. When in doubt, take it out...so, I'd get rid of it and put it into quarantine until you get a definite ID.
