Help on Snail-l;ike identification

Okay so I'm servicing my ten gallon mini reef right? And I find this weird slug seeming thing. I pick it up and its like it splits in half! It left its back half wiggling like a geckos tail thing. So I have recovered both halves in a specimen container. It seems harmless but I'm wondering what it is. It has two LONG antennae and it has a semi hard back like a shell but its not made of pure calcium carbonate. I would guess its some sort of slug/snail thing. It moves awfully weird though kinda like it has two BIG feet. I moves one side then the other to go forward. I'll get some photos I just don't know how clear they will be.

Sounds like a stometella snail but pics would be helpful

The description does indeed sound like a harmless stomatella.

I agree,.. Stometella snail is my guess too.
