HELP! How do I get this guy out!!!

I just bought a patch of zoas. I was getting ready to acclimate them and saw a bristle worm. He crawled in a hole in the rock. I want to get him out before I put the zoas in the tank. Help please!!!!

bristle worms are typically harmless scavengers I wouldn't panic

Every tank has bristle worms you just can't see them durring the day.

I heard they pack quite a sting. I didn't want to risk it. I got him out. I poked at the hole in the rock until he came out and snagged him with tweezers.

The bristleworm is your friend....just dont touch him

It seems some think that bristleworms can be bad company for sea horses on the chance that they will sting the horses, or that they will reproduce and the horse may try to snick (eat) the bristleworm giving the horse a nasty sting - OUCH!

you can try dipping in high salt or bristtle worm traps if you are worried.
