Friends or foes ?
I have these Star fish looking thingy of 1" or less with 4 large legs and 2 smaller ones...they seem to be where green algae is (on the glass, but also snails, clams...)
They are white...
Can somebody help me to identify them ?
I will try to have pictures later...

Sounds like Asterina star fish. usually considered harmless algae eaters though some blame them for eating SPS colonies.

They are likely safe. I forget the name of them, but I've seen them numerous times and they are often no cause for concern. Pictures would definitely help out with an ID, but I wouldnt stress out if they arent bothering anything that you can see. Good luck!

I agree probably Astrenia stars,.. I have a tun of them myself. There are 2 notable kinds,.. one (the most commen one by far) is a harmless algae eater,.. but there is another type that does seem to eat tissue off acros,.. this one is bad, but rare.

A few Asternia stars that we've picked out of one of our tanks recently because they were irritating the zoas to a point that they weren't opening.

I don't think they are any cause for concern
